Establish education and training institutions in rural areas to provide non-formal education, particularly for women and economically weaker sections, enabling them to develop entrepreneurial skills and self-reliance.
Conserve natural resources such as land, water, forests, and biodiversity through scientific, technological, and community-based interventions.
Promote and strengthen Self Help Groups (SHGs) and facilitate the establishment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) by mobilizing support from government agencies, private organizations, and society.
Improve farmers’ access to quality agricultural inputs, modern technologies, value addition, and better market opportunities for enhanced income generation.
Conduct need-based training programmes, workshops, seminars, field demonstrations, exhibitions, and awareness campaigns to disseminate the latest agricultural technologies and best practices.
Provide consultancy services in agriculture, livestock development, environmental management, hygiene, health, education, ICT, resource management, product quality improvement, and value addition for holistic rural development.
Create ICT-enabled rural knowledge networks and build the capacity of educated rural youth through digital literacy, technical training, and employment-oriented skill development.
