Foundation for Advancement of Agriculture and Rural Development (FAARD)
is committed to improving the livelihoods of farming communities through technology-driven agriculture, scientific knowledge dissemination, capacity building, and sustainable rural development. Since its establishment, FAARD has worked closely with leading agricultural universities, ICAR institutes, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), government agencies, NGOs, and Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs) to bridge the gap between research and practical field implementation.

Through these collaborations, FAARD promotes the adoption of improved crop production practices, climate-resilient agriculture, modern farm technologies, value addition, market linkages, and skill development programmes. Experts from partner institutions actively participate in training programmes, field demonstrations, workshops, seminars, and farmer awareness campaigns to ensure that scientific innovations effectively reach rural communities.

While FAARD collaborates with organizations across India, its major activities are focused in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, where it has established a strong network of institutional partners. These collaborations strengthen agricultural research, technology transfer, entrepreneurship development, women empowerment, youth engagement, and the promotion of sustainable farming systems for long-term rural prosperity.
