FAARD as a resource institution of SFAC, Govt. of India took the responsibility of establishing need based FPOs to take up agricultural activities in the region. We provided proper guidance for establishment of FPOs and helped them getting organised in groups for taking up the programs in areas of their choice depending on their capabilities and resources. We liaison to link them with various systems and organisations at state and central levels so as to build their confidence and empower them to take up the programs in groups for better utilization of their capacity and resources. Some such FPOs who are directly associated with FAARD in taking up programs in different areas are listed here.
