FAARD Foundation Vision & Mission
To achieve a holistic, inclusive, and sustainable socio-economic transformation of rural India by empowering farming communities, conserving natural resources, and promoting environmentally responsible agricultural practices that ensure prosperity for present and future generations.
FAARD envisions vibrant rural communities where agriculture is productive, climate-resilient, technology-driven, and economically rewarding, enabling every farmer and rural household to live with dignity, self-reliance, and improved quality of life.
To improve the quality of life of rural communities through need-based technical interventions, capacity building, knowledge dissemination, and collaborative partnerships in agriculture and rural development.
FAARD works closely with research institutions, universities, Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs), government agencies, and civil society organizations to facilitate technology transfer, skill development, entrepreneurship, women empowerment, youth engagement, and sustainable resource management.
Established in the year 2005, FAARD Foundation has been working for the betterment of rural population through technological interventions, capacity building and their empowerment.
